Info

Charlie Forsyth, of North Olmsted, was photographed at the Red Bird Center with his honor staff--his personal staff bearing his unit patch, a vietnam flag, and dog tags. Forsyth made a dog tag for every member of his unit killed in action between 1965 and 1971, when the Unit was in Vietnam. Twelve of the tags represent Ohioans killed in action from his unit- Mike Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Division. July, 2010. (Laura Fong Torchia / Special to the Beacon Journal)
